Numbers on the display suddenly
disappear when the display is dim or when used in a dark
place. |

Maybe the battery needs to be changed. The
button-type battery is included for performance checks before
shipment. Thus, the life of the battery may be shorter than
the general batteries. Please change the battery if the numbers
on the display become dim or disappear when the solar battery
part is covered.
After you have changed the battery, press the reset key located
on the back of the unit. Please note that your memory (currency
conversion rate, consumption tax rate) is deleted after changing
the battery. |

Please make sure that the switch for specifying
the number of decimals is not set to 0.
Move its position to 2, 4, or F, depending on the number
of decimals you want to display. Numbers are calculated either
round-down (CUT), round-off (5/4), round-up (UP), depending
on the position of the round-off switch. |
